Last night at dinner hubby started talking about a sci book from long ago in which one of the main characters has to push a button which activates an implant in his brain to keep him from going berserk. However, we cannot remember the name of the book or who wrote it. Now we are going berserk

I seem to remember a similar plot in an old b/w movie with major stars, but again, my brain refuses to supply a name. I can "see" the guy, but.... I've googled but don't have enough key words to find the answer.

Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Did you google Berserker; I thought there was a book/movie of the same?

hmmm, the terminal man had a brain implant i think ,as did neuromancer.....another old weird movie was brainstorm .
