Hi everybody.
I have placed the snake carcass (from inventory) on the statue's scroll, but the head does NOT "explode", so I cannot take the "large reptile head". Am I missing something here? Help needed.
Sandy

I saved at this point, quit the game, restarted the game, loaded the last save, placed the snake carcass on the scroll, and this time the head exploded, and I was able to take the "egg". A possible "glitch" maybe?

I finally finished this game, Mag. Thank you for your "right on the mark" walkthrough. I couldn't have done this without you.
BTW, there were about 3 or 4 "hiccups" in this game. The only way to overcome them was to save, quit, restart the game, and load the last save. Only then it was possible to get past the next point and move forward. Oh yes, I ended up with a score of 99.

I have collected all 5 gears, knocked on the door of the crying woman and got a picture of the catapult, and talked to the guard. However the scarecrow will not activate. I have checked the walkthrough and have done everything that is listed up to that point. Does anyone know what I might have missed?

Smokey,

Knocking on the door of the hut is not enough. You have to know that someone is inside and Eymerich says they are in there.
- Knock several times - maybe 4 or 5.
- Click on the smoke coming out of the chimney.

Then you have to get Eymerich want to open that house by force.
Then look close at the catapult to get some dialogue that refers to the house.
Talk to the ballista expert - guard to brag that he is good with the catapult but it is broken.

I had the same problem but found there was a particular part of the face that did explode. Most of the face didn't respond in that way.

I'm stuck a little bit further on where the flower refuses to grow from the seed (despite a lot of rumblings), and asking for Divine Help doesn't get me any further.

Sadly I am still stuck. I have replayed that part. After having planted the seed I'm told I shouldn't have long to wait and it sounds like something is happening. But nothing does.

Divine help only repeats what I have already done!

Just a thought:
- See if you can click at the ceiling or sky.
- click the 2 menhirs and maybe the circles drawn on them.
- Pull back after planting the seeds and wait for the cutscene.

Thanks. I tried that but was unable to find a way of clicking on the ceiling/sky.

In the end, I got it to work in the end by pushing on the seed after I had planted it.
