Good morning everyboomie. welcome

I'm very happy to be alive this morning. There was absolutely no one around last night to record my last words. slapforehead

I guess whenever I die it had best be during the daylight hours, probably at work. yes

When they ask what my last words were, they'll probably say, "Hey watch this". Either that or "OH SHOOT!". snicker

Well that was a short day off yesterday & filled with way too many chores. shocked

I did get a lot done, but this place was a lot dirtier than I wanted to believe. razz

I think anyone coming into my humble home would be able to deduce that I'm a bachelor in about 5 minutes...........or less. blush

Ever see that movie Joe's Apartment? lol

Have a happy day everyone, and welcome to the weekend! rah

Glad you were able to get a lot done, Joe. thumbsup

Enjoy your pancakes, Midge. grin

Have a great day, too, Ana.

Enjoy your Saturday, Space Quest.

It's very late Friday night for me. Looks like my natural nocturnal instincts are kicking in. lol It's day two of my three day weekend tomorrow. I played episode one of Life is Strange today, which was fantastic and (finally) finished episode 4 of The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, which was also fantastic in an entirely different way. This year is off to a great start, game wise. thumbsup

No specific plans for tomorrow yet. I want to make sure to get some singing in. Thorsgoats and I will probably play some Book of Unwritten Tales 1, so he can be prepared for the sequel. grin

As for now, I'm off to sleep. Have a great Saturday, everyone. winter

Hazy lazy day -kinda warm

Remember the turkey vulturs' post yesterday? About 5 of them still perched in that same tree by the pond today so I tramped back there and nichts, absolutemente nada. I guess they're just meeting to exchange business cards. Sadly the pond has deteriorated to dismal swamp but that's nature. There is back there a weathered coyote skull and my pets' unmarked graves still there. The oxygen, overwhelming - in fact I tramped home with a springy step and feeling kinda giddy. Can you get too much O2? Actually if an animal were injured there, I don't know what I'd do because I don't have a gun and I probably couldn't kill it anyway. I'd pay a neighbor to do that.

It's going to be a fine weekend

Super Saturday ya'll puppy

Have had a very busy morning, and running out the door now to a very busy afternoon. Hubby and I are having a play/shopping date. We usually eat while we are in town, but lately my tummy doesn't feel so well after I eat out, so we will skip that and get smoothies when we get home. I'll probably make some beans and weenies for the guys. Son's favorite meal. Then I'll collapse lol

Joe, love the quotes wave

Nan, sorry you have a funeral. Glad you have a celebration afterwards.

Racing out the door! Have a great day all. wave

The vultures are intriguing. I find they only gather when something is dying or dead. I surmise it's the smell rather than just seeing the animal. Maybe the smell of the decay in the pond is attracting them. Any dead fish or frogs or?

Boring day here. Not much happening (how strange). Finished attaching the dangling cord to the latest security camera so I wouldn't trip over it in the yard. While up on the ladder, 3 teen girls were giggling down the sidewalk, taking selfies in front of houses and saying something about getting a picture of his house. Aha. Must be some boy they like. Then they spotted me and asked if this was ....street. I advised it was one street over so off they went (in the wrong direction). I corrected them and sent them the short way. I'm thinking they don't really know this area, but they sure were having a fun time. Didn't look dangerous, just giggly girls having fun.

Penelope the Peacock seems to be spending her whole day here. I think the guy who got arrested for death threats and beating up somone with an ax was the one who took care of her. She's camping out on my roof, on the deck just 'nesting' and perching on a short section of tree branch I cut down long ago and which looks nice across some bowls filled with rocks on the deck. She perches and looks into my laundry room window and gets all excited if I walk out there. Poor gal. Not terribly hungry, but just lonely I think.

WARNING! This person is extremely blonde...please type SLOWLY.

Hey Sorta, I bet your're right about vultures and the pond. Fish couldn't live in it but there were froggies about because they were noisey these last few nights. Poor Penelope -I hope that guy gets out of jail soon. He can't be so bad if he took care of her.

Hi all wave Hope you all had a great day! I had an afternoon of family visiting including Baby James. yay I may not get to hold him but just seeing him smile when he sees me is enough!

I had a scare with the neighbors dog today, she got out and the coyote came out of the woods. Luckily she ran out of the woods to me and I got her home safely.

Heading out for darts in a few minutes! yay
