The clues below lead to words that can be matched up so that if you insert the word "and" between them and then spoonerize, you'll get a familiar phrase. Spoonerizing involves switching the initial consonant sounds, and perhaps changing the spelling, to create new words. For example, the clues "satisfy" and "tiny" would lead to the answers "sate and wee" which spoonerize into "wait and see".
