After our hectic 4-day trip to Disneyland in Orlando, we were headed home. As we drove away, my son Neel sighed and said, "Goodbye Donald!"

Joe had a coworker named Brady who always mistakenly called him Moe. This really irritated Joe, especially in light of the fact that they wore name badges, but Joe didn't want to embarrass Brady. Maybe Brady was illiterate he thought to himself.
Finally he got fed up with it one day when Brady passed Joe, and greeted him once again as Moe.
"Say Brady, it's really not a big deal at all, but haven't you ever noticed that my name tag says Joe, and not Moe?" "I really don't care, I've been called worse," he said lying, " but I just wanted to let you know for future reference."
Brady turned a little red in the face, and Joe just knew that he had embarrassed Brady, when Brady says, "No problem at all Joe, I'm so sorry for getting it wrong."
Joe says, "Think nothing of it Brady." He turned to walk away when Brady says, "Hey Joe, just for future reference.....it's Grady, not Brady."

When Janie entered the local store selling sports goods, she was greeted by the owner.

The owner said, "How can I help you miss?"

Janie said, "I want to buy a handgun for my husband."

The owner asked, "Did he give you the specifications?"

When Tony entered the bus, the only vacant seat he found was between an old lady and a pretty young girl. He took the seat, and was soon nodding off. In no time, he went into a deep slumber. When he woke up with a sudden jerk of the bus, he realized his head was resting on the old lady's lap. He quickly steadied himself and said, "Dear Lord, lead me not into temptation."

Tony dozed off and again and when he woke up this time, he found that his head was resting on the lap of the pretty young girl. Smiling, he said, "Oh Lord, let thy will be done.

Anita is invited to her friend's place for dinner. Judy, the hostess, serves her a delicious dinner. Later, when Anita is ready to leave, it starts raining heavily. Judy invites her to stay over for the night and go home when the weather clears th next day. Anita agrees.

Anita settles down to watch TV while Judy goes up into the bedroom to help her kid go to sleep.

When Judy comes down, she finds Anita missing. While she was wondering where Anita had gone, the doorbell rings. Its Anita at the door. Judy asks her blonde friend where she had been. Anita replies, "I went home to get my nightwear."

When Daniel returned home from one of his business trips, he noticed his son showing off a brand new mobile phone.

Daniel asked his son Stephen, "How did you get that?"

Stephen replied, "By getting lost."

Daniel asked, "Getting lost? What do you mean?"

Stephen replied, "While you were away, Mom's boss came home every night and gave me 10 pounds to get lost."

I found out after I got to work today something that I had forgotten about. I have to be there at 6:00am today for an all store meeting.


So after working 6 straight days, I have to get up early early on my one little short day off.


I'm not a happy camper but it is what it is, and I am what I am.....tired.

Good morning everyone. Midge, prayers for your sister. Today is youngest grandson's Birthday. Tomorrow is his dad's Birthday, our next to the oldest. Grandson is in New York attending Columbia University. We are so proud of him. Breakfast out and shopping today. Danish, Bacon, Sausage, Eggs, BB Pancakes, Hash Browns, and Toast in the NC.

That's too bad, sorry about the meeting, Joe. Hope you have more (full) days off coming soon!

Well, it's another gaming day for me, as I'm still snowed in. Though it is supposed to get warmer at least for the day. I hope at least a good portion of the snow melts, as I have a long drive tomorrow. They hardly had any hours for me next week in my regular stores, so I was given the opportunity to drive a long way to another for an extra day. Ordinarily I would have turned such a long drive down, but I really need the hours, so I'm basically forced to accept it. Oh well, it's just one day. I'm hoping next week will be better. Poor Thorsgoats was stuck driving to and from work in the snowstorm last night. He said the roads were pure ice, and there were a lot of accidents. Then, he had to go right back early this morning, when the roads were still a mess. I'm hoping it will magically be spring starting the first of March.

Okay, off to find some breakfast. Have a great Sunday, everyone.

Another nice day here. 60's and 70's. So sorry for all of you freezing back there. My neighbor's brother, who lives in Kentucky had his pipes freeze AND BOTH his toilets. I've never heard of toilets freezing. Terrible problem. Hope Spring springs soon.

Today's project is to get my Penelope Peacock pictures loaded to a net program I finally found (I had it before). Then you all can see the 'pretty girl'. Don't hold your breath too long, this will take some time and effort for me to figure it out. Ugh.

Penelope was so proud. This was her FIRST day of showing her fan. I think she was angry about some little birds eating her sunflower seeds. I'm still hoping there is a male peacock somewhere in the area. Poor Penelope seems so lonely, but maybe they (the people who actually own her but won't claim her) have a male locked up so they can harvest the feathers. Penelope is all grown up now. Go girl!

She is a beautiful girl. You have a most attractive daughter and she's a young peahen. You know you can get a framed picce for just under 50$. All that good food and kind words.............I'm jealous, here there's vultures -I talk to them. Thanks for the pictures, I had no idea what she looked like. Where did you get all those birdhouses, some look German made.

Cold, wet and darkish today. Shemer insists on staying outside -dummy head. 2 on the warm bed and Buttercup perched/sleeping on the back of my easy chair which is making it most uncomfortable for me, but too bad. Frosty tonight. Darn. My weather can't compare to that of the north climes but I, too, am waiting for Spring.

I'm nushing on Gardien vegan 6 grain thingies. Am getting used to the flavors.

Joe, Lowes should let you join the meeting virtually, if they insist you have to be there. That way you could just be on the phone from home listening in. You could relax in your PJs and robe with a nice cup of coffee. My entire job is handled virtually and I love it! It works great!
Sorta, That's the first time I've ever seen a Peahen display her tail! After all the peahens and peacocks we had on our property when I was a kid, I never saw the females do that.

Glad I finally found my picture place. Whew. Losing an old computer sure is bad when you don't remember all your favorite addresses, etc.

Yankee, the birdhouses are ones I pick up at thrift stores. Cheap like 2 bucks or less. I started hanging them for the birds, who NEVER used them, so I just continued around the back porch eaves. I enjoy looking at them and Penelope searches them daily for spiders. She also uses the glass ones for her looking glass. Vain little peahen. She's huge now, about the side of a huge turkey. Stands about 3 feet high from foot to head. And I'd never seen a peahen fan her tail either, but I read that they can. Amazing I just happened to go out the back door at the right time. My little girl...ha.

Boys have gone to mom's. Son is at work. Hubby and I are enjoying an Arrow/Flash marathon
