Does anyone else use AOL for mail?

Are you having a problem with the deletion of mail in your SPAM and Recently Deleted folders?
Both are not automatically getting cleaned up/out.

I'm wondering if other AOL Mail users are experiencing this problem.
I've sent messages to AOL via Facebook but have not gotten a response.

Thanks.

It may be a setting you need to change. My comcast mail can be set to hold spam mail for long periods of time to allow you to check them before permanently deleted.

Thank you for your response.

I've looked at my mail settings and unless it is a brand new feature - it was never something that a user could control.

For me it started on 01/27/2015.

Thank you again.

I have seen that announcement.

Still not finding anything to control the time and/or amount of messages.

Are there no AOL Mail Users out there??

I will move you to glitches where the more computer savvy people hang out. Perhaps they will have some suggestions for you.

Linda,

Click on your mail icon and go to view all mail. Underneath and to the right of your screen name click on options and from there you can set your mail settings.

Another option is to go to the bottom of the main AOL page and click on help. There is an 800 number there that you can call for customer service and they will fix you up.

Good luck!

Yeah, I'm familiar with how to see/change my mail settings.

Unfortunately, the chat/telephone help is only available for paying users of AOL.

Their mail service is free.
