I played a really tough opponent this week. It was virtually run the table out or lose. I lost my first game because of a miscue of all things. I had to draw the cue ball back half the length of the table to shape up for the eight, which is no big deal, but I just put a new tip on my stick and didn't have it prepped well enough so the cue ball jumped instead of drawing back. rolleyes As a result, this miscue puzzle!

Start with the word "MISCUE" change a letter and anagram for answers to the following clues.

-1. channel to regulate flow
-2. small orange brand
-3. word with fruit or gastric
-4. assault and battery
-5. permeates
-6. exploit
-7. body guards
-8. a porous stone
-9. sail
-10. a wind instrument?
-11. wartime medical personnel

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.

Hi Cue.

If you can't dance, don't blame the dance floor.

As I've grown older, I've found that my memory is not as good as I used to think it was.

The best math you can learn is how to calculate the future cost of current decisions.
