Book of Unwritten Tales 2

After the cut scene in the schoolroom and a few searches, Wilbur goes round in circles, cannot be controlled and eventually freezes. Also there is a clicking noise.

Is there a patch I need?

If you downloaded the game from steam - they should already have updated your game to include a patch. Log in at steam and see if there is an automatic update.

What do you mean by "a few searches?" I got my game from GOG and the patch still won't work for me. I think Inland said his finally worked. But I haven't had any problems with freezes or other issues with the game.

Draclvr GOG now has an "auto updater fix" which now allows the patch to work.

My game is the GOG version, and there is an update to address the patch problem. I never had any freeze issues either, but I did run into a bug in chapter 5 that was a game stopper - I eventually had to start over from a save point and replay a bit of it to get by it.

I've been trying to patch through the message the game itself gives before you begin gameplay. I'll go to GOG and see if I can find this auto updater fix.

Fixed, I turned down the graphic setting.

Enjoy the game, it's a good one. Do make frequent saves tough, I ran into a few bugs they haven't addressed yet.

I have too... I've definitely appreciated the frequent auto-saves in addition to my own frequent saving a few times.
