Skeeter, I just played that yesterday---did you look at the rock that Klem gave you and the big rock in front of the different cave entrances???

Skeeter, At the start - first room with the fire is a flat rock. That flat rock has the maze map. There are no other rocks in the other caves. . . . . . . . . Then you plan the maze colors to go through to reach the starburst pattern. Collect all torcehs. Light one torch and go through. Count your steps - it takes 8 clicks for the torch to go off. So light the next one on the 7th click.

Once you enter an opening - there might or might not be a passage to the next cave. At the next cave - pan around to see all the openings with the respective colored squares beside them. I'm not sure if a step by step will work since I won't be able to say pan left or right since that step is not static. You can do this, Just enter correct opening, be in a passage, exit to the next cave, pan right or left to look for the next correct opening, enter that opening, etc...

Skeeter I did notice that usually it took 2 'steps' to get to the next cave---

Hi Skeeter--Are you still having trouble with the maze--I went back to a save and replayed it-- Pick up all the torches like MaG said and light 1--then go to the cave entrance with the Brown Square on the Left and the Sun drawing on the Right side 1. You go into the the cave with the brown square --go 2 clicks 2. Now you are in another big room. Pan Right and go in the cave with the Black square by the entrance. Go 2 clicks. 3. Another room. Pan Left--there will be a cave with just the Square outline--not colored in--go 1 click into there--then right click to bring up your inv.--select a torch-and then left click on the torch in the bottom left of your screen to light a new torch--now go 1 more click-- 4. Another room. Pan Left and go through the cave entrance with the Brown square next to it. 2 clicks again. 5. These rooms are getting repititive You need to go through the cave entrance with the Black square this time--I did this 2ce--once it was directly ahead and the other time I had to pan to the right just a bit to find it-2 clicks-- 6. Here's another room. Go Straight to the cave entrance with the Brown square. 2 clicks 7. Guess what--yep, that's right--a room. Pan right just a bit and there is a cave entrance with the Black square--go 1 click and then you have to relight your torch-then 1 more click 8. Yep, you guessed it--another room---This time go Straight into the cave entrance with the Brown square--2 clicks 9. Almost there--and yet another room. Pan Left and go into the cave with the Red square--click click--and you should be in a room with a totally different puzzle and on your way out-- Be careful that you are not picking a black thinking your are picking a brown and vice versa-- Hope that helps--

Maxwell, 1. Open your My Computer, Main Hard drive (C), Program Files, The Adventure Company, ECHO, Users folder, Profile 1 folder. This Profile 1 is Arok's picture if your playing the firts one on the left. 2. Check if you have a number saved game #9 in this folder. If so, check the last number saves in that folder. 3. Then download the sent saved game to desktop. Change the number to be the last one from step #2 above. 4. Place that ?changed, sent saved game in open Profile 1 folder. 5. Close all folders. Play the game as usual and load the sent saved game.

Skeeter, you are way ahead of me in this game. Is there a way that you can reset the puzzle and try again? It looks like the numbers are correct according to the walkthrough but I won't know for sure what to do until I get there.

Yes MaG and when you it the stones, you must hit them a little bit on their left. I was sure it was 3241 and the puzzle solve. Because for the first number that is 4, I was almost on top of the 3. Hope I make sense. Chief

Maxwell, let's keep trying to figure this out. Are you seeing the saved game I sent in your saved game folder for Echo?

Okay, did you already have a saved game number 9? If you did, did you remove it? Most games will not acknowledge two with the same numbers.

Oh no, you have no saved games at all? Are you going to start from scratch or would you like to install a saved game right after the deer puzzle? I assume that we can do that but I could be oh so wrong.

You have to hit the stones in whatever order makes the first symbol light up, then the 2nd symbol, then the 3rd symbol, then the 4th. That was the case for me also--the 5th stone did not do anything--I could not 'hit' it, tho I could hit the others--hmmmmm..........Skeeter, did you get past this?

Hi Skeeter, I can only echo what L4L just said......you are way ahead of me in the game and I don't have any first hand knowledge of how it works. If you back away, does the puzzle reset itself?

I just started playing ECHO and am in the cave with th mountain lion outside the entrance. Has anyone got out of the cave or are we here for the duration of the game? When do we see the light of day?
