No, what I'm asking is where you have your monitor plugged in - just double checking to make sure it is plugged in to the Nvidia card and not the motherboard.

Oh, just shooting in the dark here! Thought maybe the monitor was plugged in to the motherboard and that was why it was showing up in your Device Manager. A quick look in your DXDIAG will tell you too.

The BIOS is the first place I'd look.
I think most modern computers automatically detect when you put in a new video card and disable the onboard. But there may be some that don't.

If you can't disable it through the BIOS, then sure, disable it in Device Manager.

Thanks I went into Bios... not used to doing that... Intel graphics showed as Enabled.. I changed it to disabled... this also removed it from by device manager. strange though I still don't see Nvidia listed in Bios..
