More word squares - might be the odd toughie included. Usual deal - I give you the clues (not in the correct order ), you solve the squares. -1. This one is not symmetrical - the across answers are different from the down answers, and (as you might have guessed) both sets of clues are mixed together. -5. I just noticed that the word square that michele rose answered is just one letter off being a palindromic word square of sorts. If the W in AWAIT and the R in TIARA were instead the same letter then the first line would be the reverse of the fifth, the second the reverse of the fourth and the center line a palindrome. Pretty cool!

You right, Joan - me wrong. Mea culpa It should be "GUSH" in both directions. I mistyped it as "BUSH" in one direction, and when I came back later to write the clues, I wrote the clue for "BUSH". Sorry - I will go and perform ritual hurry-curry in the greenhouse...
