There are two common bonds in these clues. The first is that these are all movies. I'm counting on you to figure out what the other one is.

-1. A rag doll awakens in a post-apocalyptic future
-2. A robot class called the Mecha are developed to emulate human thoughts and emotions
-3. Tom Hanks plays a character who makes a wish at a carnival which changes his life
-4. An orphan lives in a train station and discovers a robot
-5. A half vampire hunts full-blooded blood suckers
-6. Has The Pink Ladies, The T-Birds and The Scorpions
-7. A young Amish boy sees a murder and needs the protection of a big city cop
-8. A woman and her daughter open a candy store in a small French village
-9. A slave leads a violent revolt against the Roman Republic
-10. "There can be only one"
-11. An outdoor fanatic takes his friends on a dangerous river-rafting trip in the back country
-12. Two of the characters are "The Gate Keeper" and "The Key Master"

The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.
