Hi Guys.......Stuck big time. I've started the age where you find the sign that says something like, "Don't forget to pick up your KI." I did the blue machine thing...which appears to have made no difference and then clicked on the linking cloth in the niche in that room (don't know what to call this cloth thing) and wound up on a balcony where I can do nothing. I can go back to Relto, but I can't get back to the area where the "KI" sign was... the start of that age. I've tried all alternatives I can figure out to try...including all the linking books I have and the cloths with the hand signs. What am I missing?

Witchen, in that bunch of books on the shelf in your Relto, the very first one on the left should take you back to Gahreesen (that's the age where you pick up your KI). The picture in the book doesn't show the sign, but when you walk out the door you'll see it...

Hi there, Jenny, and thanks for the quick response.

I've tried all the books and the nearest I can get is the balcony in "Gahreesen," from which there appears to be no escape! I'll try it again, but pretty sure I'll be back.

Thanks again. wink

Witchie, look at the bottom of the page--you should be able to turn back to the entry for the Age...

Hi there, Jenny.. smile Okay, I will take another look to see if I can turn back the page. I must have missed it in that particular book, although I've sure the heck been all over the place! LOL

I went back to that left book at Relto, though, which took me back to the jail and the tunnel maze. I took the ladder up again and, this time, managed to get through the big door into the room with all the machines (including the one that looks like the "KI" initiator machine) and went up to take a look at the landscape as the tower revolves. (Kinda' reminded me of the Space Needle. lol )

I'll fool around here for a while and then go back and try flipping a page in the furthest left book I have. There's one space to the left of it though, yet unfilled.

Thanks again, Jenny. Intriguing game, to say the least. Even though I often don't have a clue, forward motion is the key.....

Witchie, I'm a little confused trying to figure out what you've already done in this age--have you touched any of the orange cloths that light up yet? (Those are called journey cloths, btw, and the other ones are linking stones.)

There won't be a book in that very far left slot until you've finished all four ages I think. I don't have one yet anyway. The book for each age has a page for the very beginning, so the green book (which isn't very green in my game, more of a drab color) has to have one. Try going to the KI machine, turning left and going past the construction sign--that will lead you to the next area. Also, down in the crack that you have to jump is a page for your Relto book...

Hi Jenny......Yes, there does seem to be a lot of flexibility in the game as far as coming and going from the various ages. I am pretty sure there are a couple of things left undone in Teledahn, even though I got all the orange "journey cloths" and the pillar came up at Relto. I like the game for its flexibility, but it does open it up to some confusion too. LOL

I'm going back to the last book on the left now and trying to see if I can turn the page to get back to Gahreesen and the "KI" machine. I saw the big cleft in the floor when I was there last before I touched the "journey stone." Thanks for the clarification on the names.

Hi witchen

Its not always obvious what happens with the KI machine, I missed it. Nothing seems to happen but if you have a wristwatch type thing on your hand...thats it...your KI.

If you are up on top of a rotating tower (not just looking through the prison window as it rotates) then your next step is to find the place that makes it easiest to jump.

The KI doesn't really do anything for you in the Prime game. It's used a lot in Live though.

Sometimes the linking stones take you to a place where you can read or use something, but other times the linking stones just take you to a place where you can't do anything but admire the view and then link back to your Relto. Again, these places will begin to have a function in the Live game.

Thanks a lot Sylvia and Becky! I have already been in the rotating tower once and checked it out, before I finished with the lower levels, which I did last evening. I've definitely got the "KI." Good to know, though, what will and will not be useful in the single player version of the game. I'm off to the rotating tower again.

Thanks......Witchen

Hi Guys.........Need a boost again, I think.

Man, it took me over a half hour to figure out how the heck to get to the room with the controls (didn't watch long enough) and what the heck to do to get the gear to rise out of the floor, engage and allow me to leave the control room. I finally got that figured out and went back out in the hallways and outside. I also went back through the prison and up into rotating observation deck, punched the journey cloth, but can't find a thing else to do here. I know I'm only half done or so with this age. Can't find anything else to do. Wandering aimlessly like a lamb in the wilderness......... thumbsup

Witchen, if you have the power back on now, maybe an elevator ride is in order... wink

Hmmmmmmmm, thanks Ms. Jenny. smile

I'll go back and hammer on a few more elevator like doors then. think Must have missed something.

The blue doors are lighting up and opening in the hallways now so, I assume along with the control room test of brains, timing and speed, the power must be on! Yikers! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="tongue.gif" />
