I just pre-ordered my game.

preorders been ship and some people got their download of the strategy guide.

Yes, preorders began shipping today.

i though they were going to wait for may 12 but they change their minds.

Yes, that's what they said, but in the past few years preorders have actually started shipping about 5 days prior to the announced shipping date, and the day they start shipping always seems to be a Thursday.

I think it's a good policy because this way a lot of the people who have preordered get their games before the game is available in a retail store - which is a good incentive to preorder.

Actually, I think HeR does it so that the people who ordered the physical version of the game with 3 to 5 business days shipping, have a chance to get their game by Tuesday - that's when the digital version releases.

I agree - that's another equally good reason for shipping out early.

And it makes good business sense in general to do it this way. I can remember instances of folks who had preordered disk versions of games who received them after the game had been released in retail stores - and that rather defeats the purpose of preordering. People who had preordered the game still did not have it, while others were already playing it.

I just got an e mail today telling me that my game has shipped. Now just have to wait for snail mail to deliver it.

i can not wait to get my game and i will have to wait for mag's walkthrought, and find out the next nancy drew game title, they are not posting it on her interactive.

i think someone on her interactive board got a pirate sea of darkness game, because all on it was verison 1.0, all my games have titles on them, does that really happen.

I read that discussion on the Her Interactive forum; this particular gamer is in Australia and believes the game to be a retail copy and has sent screenshots of the CD to the company to verify this. There is no way of knowing if her CD is legitimate until she hears back from Her Interactive.

My game shipped on May 8 via USPS. I should be receiving it soon. I too am waiting for MaG's walkthrough. No pressure MaG!

i got my game today just waiting for mag's walkthrought, no pressure mag, i also got the koko kringle candy bar, but it was liquid.

AWwww...sorry your Koko Kringledv didn't survive, family.

I knew there was someone out there who didn't like chocolate, but I had never "met" that person before - now I have.

they brought back nancy's room, but you can not touch the scrapbook, is the easter egg and phone charms going to be includded in the walkthrought mag.
