I've been trying to manipulate the robot to open the archives door without success. Does anyone have a save game for after this puzzle? I have the GOG version of Still Life if that makes a difference. I will also need some instruction on how to load it in Win 7.

It's been a while since I've played a regular adventure game. I've become addicted to the casual games (HOPA). This is a really good game. I played it when it first came out - and don't ask me how I managed this puzzle at that time, because I don't remember. It seemed like it was time for a replay.

Hope I can get a save game so I can continue this story. I plan to play Still Life II next.

Unfortunately, I don't know for sure where the saved games for Still Life are located in Windows 7 as a GOG download. Just as a guess, I would look somewhere like this:

C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramFiles(x86)\GOG.com\Still Life

If that doesn't turn up anything, hopefully someone else will know.

Thanks for the quick reply Marian. I have the downloaded save file. Now to find my saved games. It's not under what you suggested. I'll look around and let you know when I find it.

Found the saves in the Still Life directory under "Saves". "Who'da thunk it!"

I had forgotten much about this game, in particular the language used was a mild shock. But I still enjoyed the game and appreciated the grittyness for what it was. At least this time I can continue the story in Part 2 and not have to worry about if she actually "got him".

Nice to hear that the saved games were somewhere that actually makes sense.
