Torin and I were doing fine until he found himself hanging from a tree. I am traying to make him swing high enough to catch the limb but no go. How can I make him swing better. I tried to click on both his side but he never makes it. Please help. Kathy

Try clicking 'beyond' him when he reaches the extreme end of each swing. It's like pushing a kid on a swing. You might be pushing just a little too soon.

Hii ya', Kath wave .....Also you might try this instruction from a walkthrough: (the numbers in parenthesis are just to add up points, so don't be concerned about em'. wink )

Climb to the top most branch. Once at the top, grab the rope from your inventory, and click it on yourself which will then have Torin tie a rope around him (3), and now click the rope on the tree branch which will have Torin tie a rope around the tree branch (3). Now jump from the branch. Bunging his way down, Torin will grab a peat moss (5), but then he lose his bag on the moss and can't climb anywhere. To the far right is a branch, click the mouse as close to the branch as possible, without having the mouse glowing. That will enable Torin to swing. Click as much as possible to get him swinging hard, and then click on the branch. Torin will then grab onto the branch (4). He will then take the rope off and discard it and then flip over to the other side."

Thanks for all the help. Torin made it to the branch. We were going great guns, collected lot of dragon poo and other things. Now we are with the little people at the place the next crystal is supposed to be. Do I sort them by sound, color, sex or all of the above? I am confused. Kathy

HI Kathy.......The singers (ladies) must sing in ascending order tones. The men in descending order. I think you have to line them up too. wink

Well the little things sang in the correct order, what fun! Now I am at the maze, I found the fat gizmo at the upper right corner without any trouble, but I cannot do anything with it. I am assuming that some tool is missing but I cannot see anything else in the maze or at the shore across, a little nudge would be very welcome. Thanks Kathy

Hi ya, Kathy...Use small movements too. That will help you navigate.

After you have the wrench (the item from the upper right) go to the lower part of the maze and take a different path to go to the upper right again, to the mountains...Use the wrench on something you'll find up there. smile

Could this be a glitch? I am about to reach the place the wrench is but now I cannot move Torin forward at any anlge.

It's not a glitch - you might be trying to go along the wrong branch. Some of them are dead ends. Try going back and choose a different path.
