I need some help here - I am trying to enter the new phase port channel number for an overload reaction power X3 but do not understand the explanation given in the walkthrough - the OLD setting is 70010 and the 3 numbers given in maintenance (tab) are 7-30-2190. It says to substitue the first digit (in 70010?) for the firsst digit of the new phase port range etc, but no combination I have tried gives me the overload reaction (grid) I need......HELP please if you have played this one, just give me the correct NEW setting......and thanks
Love, Betty Lou

Betty Lou,

I have not played the game.

The walkthrough stated:
To do this, use the existing setting, but substitute the first digit for the first digit of the new phase port range for an overload reaction (found under Maintenance on grid panel). Then click the red label to connect. Now return to the grid and power up the assembler.

If I understood the walkthrough;
1. Write down the what is the present setting of overload reaction (power x 3).
2. Then replace the first number of that present setting of power x3 with the first number of the new phase port range for an overload reaction (found under Maintenance on grid panel).
3. Then click the red label to connect.

I might be wrong but that's how I interpret it.

Yes, Mag, that is what I thought too, BUT using 20010 instead of 70010 does not work. Maybe TLC has finished playing this one thru since she sent me the game on CD (I am on dialup and it takes 7-8 hours to download), and maybe she can email me the answer. NUTS!

Energy? I have energy too? Not as much as I used to. Oh, and I take a nap almost every day, have to or I would sleep through supper and part of the evening. Most of the above just takes more brain usage than brawn. How about you? Don't you live on a farm? Keeps ya busy, don't it? laugh
Anyway, Jon emailed me back with some tips on how to figure out what I need, (more hints built into the game) and the answer (choose from 3 different settings he provided me). He is one nice guy. Thanks Jon and thank you Mag for helping too.
Love, Betty Lou
