What do I do in the bull room? I just came from the boat maze where I got a key. I tried using it in the yellow object on the pedestal but it doesn't leave inventory. I don't see anything in the room that explains the colored squares around the bull. Does anyone have an answer? Please?

The boat room is the first time you have to do some serious reading in the notebook in order to figure it out. If you want more detail than that, just post and I'll give you some more hints smile

Thanx Manx, I guess I'll have to go back and get more keys.

Auntieshoque, you mean I'll have to get more then 3 keys at boat maze?

I'm impressed that you got one. I can click open the spring-weight things, but only one at a time. That is, if one is clicked open, the other two won't open. Course, it might help if I figured out where you get the key...
As for reading...Tablet 6 seems to refer to sailing, but nothing leapt to mind. Hints (whimper, whine)...

Hi KateVa,
I did a lot of sailing in that maze before I found the answer to getting the key. Try going to the end of the maze and send Raven there too to get the key. Then go to the other two. Too much information?? lol

Nope. Only 3 keys in the boat maze. But wowie! is that a tedious one to do. Once you figure out what to do, it's sort of a "hurry up and wait" thing.

The reading I found was for the bull... sorry about being confusing there. Ignore what looks like a keyhole for now and concentrate on the bull. See if you can find any references in the notebook to the bull... also note what Raven says when you go up to the bull... he mentions salt and coal... look for that in the notebook.

Once again, if you want more, let me know smile

Thanks Shoque, I'll try that. How's the weather in Saskatchewan today? My mother was born there many many years ago.

Cold! LOL Winter and cold weather have come early this year, it seems. We've been down to -15 and -20 (that's Celsius) already, and I'm not liking it. I spent 2 years living in Denver a while ago and that was enough to spoil me for winters. I miss mild winters and melting snow. Except at Christmas. Christmas demands snow smile

Oh - by the way, from the point of the bull room onwards, there are a few rooms where the notebook becomes very necessary to solve the puzzles. So if something seems impossible, remember to check out the notebook. Also, the notebook is not necessarily in order of the puzzles in the game, so a lot of searching is required.

When someone gets to a large room with a statue and a gold pot that fills with water, let me know. I'm soooo stuck it's not even funny.

Well Shoque, I've read the book through Tablet 8 or 9, can't remember which. I still don't know what to do with the salt and charcoal at the base of the bull. Raven won't pick up anything so ?????

The colored panels around the bull are what you need to be using. They have a hole in them, which means you'll have to use something round (something perhaps from the slice and dice room?). The tablets mention that the bull wants grass, then ice... so green grass and then white ice. So take the bull staff and put it in the lighter green spot, then in the white spot. Then what was hidden will be revealed smile

Auntieshoque, Thank you. After 50 tries at the elevator room I finally called on my 11 year old son to try it. He got it after 10 tries. Now I'm exploring all sorts of other rooms. When you say this game is not linear, should the elevator room be done last? As it is I have to backtrack and do another two hours of work because of the elevator nightmare. And what is it with that lever that does not work? Do you think there is a glitch. Hope to catch up to you or I may just pitch this game across the room. laugh

Shoque, you mentioned a bull staff. Where is that? I don't have one. If I did this would make more sense.

Riceburner, the bull headed staff is in the notorious Sin Room which is fondly known as the slice and dice room. It is easy to get the staff however it is near impossible to leave the room in one piece. I think Freddie Krueger wrote the Sin room part. devil

Is that the same as the revolving knives room? I've been through there.

Riceburner- Unfortunately, the Slice and Dice room isn't the same as the revolving knives...It is a charming spot with walls of spikes that crash after you pull the lever, and spikes, and then a series of pendulums and closing spiked walls. close to the snake room. Thanks for getting me me out of the Boat Maze! GI Joe (aka Raven) lumbered off a lot of shoe leather there. I am now enclosed in a green cloud in the Bull Room (ROFL!!)

Problem : I cannot find the Sin room or the Snake room. I have done the sun room, the pump room, the boat maze, the revolving knife room. I even started a new game to see if I could find those two rooms. I have gone up, down, under, through and around so many times I'm dizzy. Can someone tell me where I can find those two rooms???

Well, once you've activated the water in the pump room, it turns on the bridge like thing that you came through before getting to the pump room. It's a tall room and you first enter it crossing a stone bridge, then double back and down to a wooden looking bridge. It's actually a teeter-totter type thing, and it goes up and down constantly due to the flowing water. The entrance to the boat room and the bull room is the upper corridor. If you just stand on the same end of the teeter-totter that you get off of to go to those rooms, but wait for it to go down, that should lead you to the snake, staff and water elevator rooms.

Once you get the waterwheel turning a door opens on the second level. Bear right and will find the bull room. Still trying to get through the pendulums and spiked walls.

Never resist a generous impulse.

I hope I didn't screw up by not doing the bull room and boat room before the water elevator room. Sure hope I can find them from where I am now (wherever the heck that is) lol

Acornia all I can say is good luck with the spikes - my son, bless his heart - got me through that.

Hi AS, I need more help. I have been to every exit from the teeter totter bridge both above and below and still cannot find the Sin room or the Snake room. Do you have a saved game prior to entering the Sin room? The only thing I can think is that I may not have triggered something to let me find either room. One thing I always find at the top of some steps is a blue door or something that looks like a door. I can't open it. Have you found that blue door?

Syd,

Don't worry if you didn't do the bull room before the elevator room. You have a chance later to get back to the bull room!

Kay when you finished the pump room there was a door that opened up top - go through that and follow the corridor - the tumbler room is at the end of the corridor. If I'm remembering the room correctly you have check the alcove and push an animal in order to gain entrance (either that or I'm thinking of another room)

Wombatt - glad to know that I can retrace my steps. I wasn't sure if I could ever get down there again lol

Never mind Syd, I found the tumbler room. I went back to the pump room and replayed it and then I looked for a door on the second level that Acornia mentioned. That made the difference. What a dunce I am. I was always leaving by the door on the third level. Anyway, I'm on my way now.
