Hiroimono, which means “picking something up,” is a traditional Japanese puzzle. Beginning with the black stone marked 1, you must pick up all of the white stones and number them in the order in which you pick them up. There are, of course, conditions. You may move horizontally or vertically. You may only change directions when you pick a stone up, and you may never reverse your direction. If you pass a spot where you have already picked up the stone, you may no longer change directions there. Can you pick up all of the stones?
