Dumb Criminals

My husband was driving
home from work when he was
pulled over for not wearing a seat belt. Two days later—same ticket, same cop.

“So,” the officer said, “have you learned anything?”

“Yes, I have,” said my husband. “I’ve learned I need to take a
different way home from work.”

“Was that the same nose you broke as a child?”
“Now, doctor, isn’t it true that when a person dies in his sleep,
he doesn’t know about it until the next morning?”

Have a terrific Wednesday Joe and all who come in after me. wave

It's Tuesday night for me, and I'm off to sleep for yet another morning work whoosh. The best part of tomorrow for me will be playing more Life is Strange when I get home, as I only had time to finish about half of the episode today. grin

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday. spring

Good morning everyone. To all here and all who follow, have a Super Hump day. Midge, I left some BB Pancakes in the NC for when you get home from work. The greenhouse is finished, and now they are working on the Hot Tub spot. Robert, Chuck, Cindy and I will be leaving for the Keys in a week and a half. We will be on the Gulf side this year. Chuck, Robert's fishing buddy rented a 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bath house with a pool, spa, pool table and boat dock. Chuck is taking his boat. I'm very excited and looking forward to this trip. Danish, Bacon Sandwiches, and French Toast in the NC. spring

Good morning everyone. wave

I am worn out this morning. I'm tired, and I've had an upset tummie all morning. tired

We had more severe storms all night long. I just took Baby for a walk, and there is water running everywhere, and standing puddles. We must have had a fair amount of rain. Not that we need more. We're pretty soggy now. All the ponds and lakes in the area are full. shocked

We have rain in the works for the next 10 days, but our next big prospect for rain is Friday, when I'm off. smirk

I work from 1:00 to 10:00 tonight, and tomorrow. tired

Not looking forward to it tonight. slapforehead

I hope you all have a great day. yes

joe

Creepy day here. Something strange is going on. Not sure what just yet, but the Outdoorsies are all acting strangely. Even Miss Penelope Peacock didn't bounce down off the roof for grapes this morning. She just stayed up there pecking at spiderwebs. The cats came for breakfast, but didn't eat. Just looked at me, meowed and wandered off. I finally got one to eat, but something is definitely off today. AND there was still food on their table this morning from last night's feeding. Never happens.

Might have been a possum fight or something that got them all upset? I heard some weird noises in my sleep but didn't get up to see what was going on. Didn't hear a fight. Perhaps someone in the yard? Ghosts? Gearing up for an earthquake? The feral are sensitive to stuff like that. I'll keep watch and see if they act 'normal' later. Very quiet around her for a Wednesday morning too. Hardly any traffic. At least birds are chirping. Before an earthquake, even the birds stop making noise. Hummmm.

WARNING! This person is extremely blonde...please type SLOWLY.

Wonderful Wednesday ya'll puppy

Feeling punky today so going to be as quiet as possible, though I did spend a bit of time in the kitchen this morning clearing counters and scrubbing them and the wall behind them and the windowsill and plant containers on them. I decided not to walk the dogs as I want to be sure they are recovered from yesterday's anesthesia as their bodies don't cool efficiently until that is cleared from their systems.

My Seagy didn't want breakfast this morning. sad Hopefully it's just the kids being there weirding her out.

Son wants to play some board game with the kids so will do that for a little bit and then most likely go lie down.

Joe, sounds like a very busy day for you. Are you enjoying having your own place sans landlord or relatives?

Ana, have a great day.

Venus, have a good work day.

Space, busy day planned?

Haroula, did you all have time for the beach today?

Midgy, I'm sure there are BB pancakes in the warming tray next to the oven. Did you check there? Hope your afternoon off is fun!

Connie, are you pleased with how the greenhouse came out? Your trip sounds wonderful.

Gail, stay warm and enjoy the sunshine.

Darlene, happy skooshing?

Anyone heard from Doc?
