Hi Beerhead,
The way I do it is by copying the whole walkthru to a WORD document, and then "saving" that document with a short name. It will now be on your hard drive (in MY DOCUMENTS, probably). I go a step further, though,by printing it out. It's much easier to use that way. I hope this helps you
Sandy

Thanks Sandford, that walkthru uses a lot of colored ink.I just spent 40 dollars for my ink. There's no way to just print the words only.

It is painstaking but you can do it. Open a blank page in your word processor.
Open the web page walk through
Click on the top printed line while holding down your mouse (left click) and drag it highlighting the text and stop before the picture. While highlighted click copy under the edit tab in your browser.
Paste that into your word processor. That way you are going to copy text only.
Continue that process through the walk through omitting the pictures.
It is painstaking but it can be done.
If you highlight the picture they will copy.
Once you get a text only copy in your word processor it can still take a lot of pages.
You can then make a second file with the pictures only without printing for a quick reference in case you need to look at it to get a better idea of what you need to do.
Once you have a complete walkthrough in your word processor you can then index your saves. Simply type the save name or number on the line in the walkthrough where you made the save. If you ever need to use a save when replaying a pain in the neck section of the game you know exactly where that save is.

Ok so with that said knowing I keep all my saves in a folder on a back up drive I almost always forget to index the darn things and then complain because I don't know which saves goes where. Yeah I have thousands of saves and can hardly tell where they belong in the game. You can tell by this advice is cheap smile

Here's another way:
1).Open up a walkthrough.Save it to Favorites like you would any other webpage.
2).Close all other activity and open that walkthrough page.Drag tab and "pin" it to the taskbar.
3).Minimize the walkthrough page you just had open so you can get to the desktop start game icon and start the game. When you get to a place in the game where you are stuck hit the "windows" key at the bottom of the keyboard. This minimizes the game to a taskbar icon. Now you have two icons on the taskbar you can switch back and forth from.Guess what----Zero ink!
------------------------------------------------
Additional info:
1). I don't know if the windows logo key on keyboard works with every game, but it works with most.
2). If you come to a point in a game where you need to view the WT and the game at the same time you can go to the walkthrough and right click to select "print preview" then select the particular page you want and print it out.

Or:
- You can copy and paste the walkthrough on a text document (.txt). Only text (no pictures) will be automatically be copied and you can print from there.

You could also use BLACK ink instead of COLOR ink, Beerhead. It's cheaper and much faster printing.
Sandy

BTW, I buy my ink cartridges from sellers on AMAZON. They are re- manufactured cartridges that cost $5.00 each, approximately. Be sure to buy only from High Rated sellers Because if you get a "dud" cartridge, those people will exchange them or make a refund without a hassle. Been buying these for years, and have had only a few "duds" in all of those years.
