when do you think the star of southern at heart and daphne will have a cookbook and is it okay to have liquid smoke in macaroni salad. cool lab puppy

You can add liquid smoke to anything you want. I just don't think it would be a good addition to macaroni salad. If you want to try it, just add a little bit to a small portion first in order to get a taste.

Liquid smoke is good on anything that you would normally grill or barbeque, or roast. Meat mostly, like steak, chicken, ham, but it's good in 'baked' beans.

I think I used it in a marinade for London Broil once with Teriyaki sauce. It was yummy. smile

I use liquid smoke to slow cook my ribs in the oven...and then after they're done I let em cool in the fridge overnight and BBQ them on the grill the next day for treat you just can't beat!
