Someone else on the BF forum posted that there are interactive hidden object scenes. If this game is similar to the other Five BN games, then there are probably some but not a lot. Hopefully someone who is playing the game can confirm for sure.

It's one of those games I don't want to end, so I'm taking my time. The HOS are really not the usual and I don't feel it's overloaded with them. They are more interesting than regular HOS. There are Slides, Beyond Objects and Collectibles to find in all the scenes, so there's plenty to do. I hope there will be more New York Mysteries coming. I may go back and play NYM: Secret of the Mafia again. Gotta' be crazy, to keep from going insane

(I'm playing them in the order they were installed.) This is a terrific game. Movie quality music and sound. A long game with a good storyline. Challenging, with lots of backtracking. The interactive map is very helpful and navigation is quick. HO scenes are fully interactive - like mini-games rather than the standard list of things to find. Bonus game is also fairly long. High recommend. I'm sure that anyone who prefers to get the standard version will be pleased as well.
