Hi Everyone

I am playing the above game,And I am running it on Win 98 as the box calls for
The game goes along ok with some time taken between scene changes,but as soon as
I got to the part where she goes to the trash can,she picks up the broom and
Screw driver.Then when you use the broom to move the trash to get the tong pliers
The game crashes back to the desk top.I down loaded 2 files both of which are
Suppose to correct this problem,but they did not work both patches would not load
Into the game to correct the problem,has anyone else had this problem.

It a good game but I guess there is no way to correct this bug in the game

Since your post concerns technical problems, I have moved it over to Glitches.

When I played the game, there were certain areas where the game would be prone to crashing. It didn't always crash in exactly the same spot. So I saved a lot, and gradually made progress past the crash-prone areas.

I thought it was just that the game didn't like my video card. But it turned out that other people had much worse problems with it crashing. If I'd known that, I'd have given it a lower grade in my review.

If you want it to play without any crashing at all, I don't know whether that's possible. But you may be able to get past the crashes if they don't always repeat in exactly the same place.

Sometimes trying things in a different order helped.(sometimes)

Thanks for the reply,The game continually crashes every time I try to remomve
The Trash from the side of the barrel.It wont let me get past that point.
this is playing on win 98,I tried playing it on win xp I got past the point
And it crashed at a different spot.I am going to try and play it on a much
Older Xp system and see what happens.If it crashes again I will shelve the
game and it will collect dust.Evendently the company that produced the game
Didn't rmove all the bugs in it.It a good game, it would be nice to be able to
Play it to the end.

I found my saved games for Legacy on an old backup CD.
I can email them to you if you want.
I don't remember whether I'd patched the game or not, but I suspect not.
Is the email address in your Gameboomers profile still correct?

Going by my review, I played it on a computer with Windows 2000.
So if you can't play it in XP, try setting compatibility mode set to Windows 2000.

I had so many issues with this game I eventually gave up on it - it's a tough one to play.
