Has anyone played this? It is Freeware from 1998. Available at JustAdventure.com .
Anyhoo, I can't figure out how to save games!!
If anyone knows how to, please let me know.

Thanks, Fred

Hi Fred,

Is there a readme file when you downloaded the game? - it might give you some info.

The other thing also is to get to the main menu and that might contain save-load-quit.

Try moving the cursor on top, corners of the frame, right click or use the F1, F9 on the keyboard.

Good luck,
MaG

Also, sometimes "Escape" will get you the save menu. I would never have thought of F9, but I notice that Eduardo's new game uses that one...

Hi MaG and Jen,

The Escape key brings up the save/load/quit menu.
When I choose save it brings up the standar, type in name of save game.
I type in a name. Click on Save. Nada.
Ditto re Enter key.
Does not save?
Readme file did not discuss this.
Any additional help welcome.

Fred

Contact the Sylum, the Developer and Publisher of Curly's adventure . Maybe they have more info about the glitch. I saw there's also a message forum dedicated to Curly's Adventure.

Good luck!
MaG

Fred, I was just checking this out over at JA and it's possible that the save function isn't active, since this seems to be just a demo. I remember a couple of them (especially Black Mirror) where you couldn't save.

Anyway, I'm going to download it myself and see if I can figure anything else out...

Ok, Fred, I think I have it figured out. To save a game, hit the "esc" key, then backspace out the name that is on top of the column and type in the name you want. Then double-click on the name you just typed. That should put it at the bottom of your list of saved games.

To load a save, use the arrow key at the right of the list to put the save you want on top, and then double-click on it.

See if those directions work for you...

Jenny,

I'm sure it will work, knowing you.
Thanks for taking the trouble.

Fred
