A couple of you have played this (online) so maybe you could nudge me in the right direction - I "get" the knife from Arthur's back, "get" the crab off the floor, "get" my expired library card off the desk, and "get" the fingerprint kit/book from the bookshelf, "look" at the box and Arthur on the floor, and the dog pic on the wall and some books on the bookshelf, cannot pick any of them up or "move" anything else, - "use" the knife on the fingerprint kit/book to reduce its size for ease in carrying around, been to the dock, "talk" to Bill, "look" at everything, cannot "get" anything here, "use" knife on everything no results, cannot "move" anything, tried fingerprint pamphlet on everything no results either. Where do I go from here? What do I do now?
Love, Betty Lou

Ok - office to dock.
Placed crab in bucket to talk to Bill.
Look at crab crate at back left. See fake crabs. He says to check other restaurants.
Took sponge from right box.
Checked the squid.

Went to new restaurants.

That's as far as I looked. Have fun!

OK MaG, but what did you do to Bill to get him to talk about ANY restaurants, let alone different ones....I'm stumped, no mention of restaurants at all here. Stuck on dock with one crab and crate of fake crabs, slimy squid, one sponge and nowhere else to go or nothing else to do.
Love, Betty Lou
P.S. Where is everyone else who is playing this game? Or has already played it? Someone finished the whole game in under an hour? HOW?

Use the knife on the book on fingerprinting(from the shelf at your office). Then Look at the leaflet. It should have a couple of instructions for you. Hope this is a gentle nudge..... wink

If I remember - short trip to the game and I didn't write it down. blush

Hero mentioned the restaurant only after opening the crab crate and looking at the crabs. He screeches that they are FAKE! Then hero talks about checking the restaurants - not the barnacle cleaner. wave

Finally got the 2 restaurants to show up on that map - been to both - can't figure out what to do - need a keycard for the gate/door, where do I look for it? Can't do anything to help Jim with his rats - what now? I have tried to access the HINTS/TIPS feature and nothing happens, it just sits there - any ideas?

Betty Lou, your ID card also needs a fingerprint. Maybe something on the dock is a source of ink. "Look" at the fingerprint book for step by step instructions.

I had trouble getting the ink, and had to try everything in my inventory, and finally "scared" some up. If you need more hints let me know.

OK. Used ID card with fake picture from poster and Arthur's fingerprint to get into Cafe. Got cheese and hald tin cans. talked to chef & waitress. got kidnapped by thug and talked to Boss. trapped rat with cheese & crab. talked to Crab diner guy he needs to hire someone to dispose of his rats. I haven't a clue what to do now so can't get diner reopened. HELP please. Cute game. Takes an awful long time to open it so it can be played. too bad have to start over again as there is no save feature. And cannot access their hint/tip file. Thanks

Love, Betty Lou

Betty Lou, have you found the business card to give the guy who has the rat problem? Try moving a crate around outside the kitchen of the restaurant where the guy is listening to the victrola.

Doreen has a good clue for you. Then when Jim calls for help, you have to go back to the "Boss" and try to overhear the phone conversation. You might have to combine a couple of inventory items to make a new gizmo.

Also...can't this game be offered in our Free Games Galore? Have to keep the topic moved up in Discussion so as to get back to it. Cannot "bookmark" it.

Betty Lou,

The game is at Free Games Galore as well as other new games Dee has picked up.

I'll try to open it later since I didn't play the game long enough. smile

Betty Lou, you can download the game to your harddrive so you don't alway have to be on the internet to play.

Doreen has a good clue for you. Then when Jim calls for help, you have to go back to the "Boss" and try to overhear the phone conversation. You might have to combine a couple of inventory items to make a new gizmo.

Doreen, thanks for the help.
SuMac, thanks I think I will. Wish I could access their Hint/Tip file but nothing happens when I click on it. Oh well.

The hint file didn't work for me either Betty Lou. Don't know why they have it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" />
