Apologies if this has already been discussed. I couldn't find an earlier topic when I searched.

I only downloaded this game from Steam last week and finished it yesterday! This is the actual first time that I have finished GK1. I played it many years ago and gave up due to the mummies/zombies as I just could not get through that part. However, this time I achieved it on the 3rd try! Luck, I guess. I have played GK2 and GK3 as well.

When I finished GK1, I did a google for some information on GK and found this site that compares GK1 with the floppy version, the CD version and the new 20th Anniversary version that I thought Adventure Gamers might like to check out.

I am glad that I am not the only one who could not complete the game due to those awful mummies. I tried many times and finally gave up. I still have the original but I think I will go to GOG and download the game and give it one more try.
