Are you sure the game wasn't just asking to install Visual C++ during the installation? I had that happen with a different GOG game, and it was not an error -- just something the game needed that isn't normally included with Windows.

Says error Microsoft the following componets are required to run this program Microsoft visual c++2013 runtime. I guess its not included in the game and I guess I will just leave this one alone for now Dianne
