Has anyone else had any trouble loading a saved game? Every time I try to load one the game doesn't recognize any saved game. I have to start all over again. It's very frustrating. frown

Just do it.

I'm having to start over because I don't know why I can't load a saved. I guess if this keeps up I'll have to play it through to the end. I'd hold off buying it.

Just do it.

Hi Midge,

There is a grayed line at the bottom of the list. To save a game - I type the name of the saved game on that gray line and then click the save game button below.

To load a game, scroll the title of the saved game to the gray bar and then click the load button.

If this is what you have been doing - I will check at TAC if there's any FAQ's about it.

----- I didn't find a Forever Worlds FAQs at TAQ. frown

I think the main character made mention of 'up' or elevator when you looked at the stand in front of the statue and water.

Here - think of Indiana Jones' first movie inside the cave trying to get a golden skull. smile

Stuck... again. I am in some sort of factory. I've already got the pass and four bins with colors. Got no idea what to do next?

marty,

Didn't your copy of Forever Worlds come with the Solution Guide? Sounds like you are grappling with the puzzle described on pages 29-31. If you already have the pass, time to go back to the room that shares its name with the company responsible for developing, but not publishing, Forever Worlds.

Well you know if you look in guide one time you can't stop smile ... I was in that room, no luck, just some sort of tool I've inserted in a machine. Now I am stuck.

Marty,

Are these 'bins' the 4 ornate flasks collected in sveral places?
Have you collected nectar in them?
Then with the pass - you can enter the room - I think left of the admin door that is not accessible.

Right MaG - I've got the flasks, I've entered the closed door, but what's next?

If you are now in the office with all those fillers - Get the bar or whatever that is in the case left of the big chart.

There's a door to the right of the chart that you can partially open but since there's fillers present you can't get through. You need to distract the fillers and get through that door. In prep, use the abacus to make a gap on the door.

Then find a way to make a distraction.

I don't know if it's a bug but I can't go over the first puzzle. I enter the sequence 3-2-3-2-1--2 and nothing . The puzzle seems to be O.K. but I can't go anywhere, I can't save ;to quit I must do Ctrl Alt Del

In office Puzzle with butterflys ;( I thought the right combination was the one I saw on the wall: blue, red, red, blue, red, yellow. But I was wrong. Any idea why?

The red before the yellow at the end is really purple. I myself can't distinguish the colors on the clue - flipped too fast.
blue, red, red, blue, purple, yellow. smile

I'm at the 4 "musical" columns after clicking on one of them and getting the little bird that likes centipedes, but I can't seem to get any more of the columns to play except spasmodically. It says in the walkthrough that came with the game that there is a carved pipe hanging from each of the columns, but I sure can't see any "carved pipes". The walkthrough also says that the columns are decorated with fresh garlands. They sure don't look fresh to me, they look metallic. Any suggestions on how to play the pipes?

This is one of those puzzles that you have to play in sequence correctly or it will become a sour sound. The first time you make a mistake - that lil bird shows up.

So start over and listen - click the correct sequence and when you reach a wrong one - start over until you find the correct sequence. smile

I have started over and over, but I can't seem to get the columns to play at all. How long do I have to hold the curser on the column before it makes any sound?

I forgot to say that you have to copy the sound you heard when you first saw the tower on the other path. Those are the tones you need to reproduce.

I can't recall if this puzzle has a reset. Best to go out of the puzzle - back out of the puzzle before starting over.
The cursor click starts the sound okay for my game. smile

I saw the tower and heard the sounds, but my cursor won't play them on the columns. All I get is that stupid little centipede eating bird. Do I have to go back to the tower each time?

Replayed this part - took a while since I didn't have a saved game close to this one and can't get pass the cutscenes.

1. Click the checkered cursor to start the puzzle.
The cursor now changes to blue arrow. Is this what you don't see?
2. Click on any pipe and bird will come.
3. Be sure to listen to the sound of the pipes.
Click correct pipe - the sound is like hhhhhmmm going up.
Click the wrong pipe - the sound hhuuuhhhh going down.
4. So - click the correct pipe until a wrong pipe is hit - go back to start on the correct pipe and hit another pipe to find the next correct pipe, --- so on and so forth...

Just to start you off - the third pipe from the left is the first correct pipe. The second correct pipe is second from left. Now you can go from here.

No you don't need to go to the tower. I went straight to the pipes.

I don't know why, but I had to do a quick double click on each pipe/column to get it to work, but I finally got to sandor the condor.

Hi all,
I saw the book lying on the ground went to it , saw a flash of light and now it looks like I'm inside of a tree trunk. Explored a bit and was confronted with a bodyless face in tribal mask. There's also some sort of set up with gears which seem to be controlled by a series of keys below it. Now here's my problem with no clues as to how to set that up I haven't a clue what to do. I also don't know if I hit a glitch but when I right click the menu doesn't come up so I can't save a game and exit out. Had to reboot out. Not too far in so I can right back there but will I be stuck again f it's not a glitch or is HELP!!!!

MaG I'm posting this in Glitches also in case that's the problem, OK?

Bill,

Once you activate a puzzle, there is no backing out of it. It's not so much a glitch in the code as it is a poor design decision. A really poor design decision.

As for what you are supposed to do, try twidding the keys and see what happens above the gears...

Gotcha, thanks again, just got to make sure to save right before I get to that book. Is there any warning much further into the game when puzzles might be coming up or do you suggest to save on top of save on top of save LOL.

Probably an idea to save every time the cursor turns to a triangle. It only activates the puzzle if you left click while the cursor is a triangle.
