Since this is a request for hints - I will move this to Adventure Hints & Help forum. Just click on the link at top left of the frame. I also added the name of the game to your thread title. Will you tell us in what location you are in? There are several journey cloths in different locations. If you are in cleft, if there are lights, then there's power.

If the column at the grate is all the way down and all the lights are on at the panel; then I believe you have power. Should be some noise also.
You're supposed to have a green light at the elevators and most of the doors should also work.
After you're sure you have power, I beleive that the 3rd Journey is in that room.

Soul, No easy way except run and keep trying. It isn't as bad as it sounds. Sorry I didn't realize you were playing the original URU. I was wrong in my first post. Becky is right.

Did you turn all four of the switches on the wall? The last couple to the right control the doors and elevators, and they need to be turned on before you can get out of this room.
Also, you did go to the machine that activates your KI, didn't you? That needs to be done before the doors will open...

SoulTaker, the third scope (the one that the door is behind) sits out in the middle of an open space all by itself...

Soul Taker: Here's how I did it: ( Aussiemystic) My suggestion: stand up against the rock. Don't stand so that the rock is directly in between you and the page. Rather, you need to move around to the right a little, until you can see a 'triangle of light' on the rock.
Then, try 'walking' up the rock with an occasional jump. It's not easy but can be done. The area on top of the rock is quite flat and you can move around slightly, making very small steps and turns to line yourself up with the page. Move back slightly, then press the caps lock key and jump forward.

Soul taker We'll see each other again on URU Expack 1. To me this was the toughest part of the Uru experience. I won't spoil it for you. Check out the other threads and posts for some info. Later

Soul Taker, the settings for that dial vary in each game, so no-one can tell you what they are. The easiest thing to do is to go back to the Bahro Cave at the end of one of the Ages and draw a picture of each of the four symbols on the floor there and their relation to each other--which is on the left, right, top, and bottom...
