Makes me curious why AVG is blocking it. There must be something it doesn't like.
Well, mipony downloads files from the Internet.
One of those files might possibly contain a virus.
Any program that connects to the Internet is suspect to an antivirus, whether you initiate the download or not.
AVG is probably just being overprotective -- using "heuristic" protection that blocks everything that downloads files from the Internet unless you instruct it to do otherwise.
Unless you have some other reason to suspect mipony, I wouldn't take AVG's word for it that there's anything wrong with it. AVG is probably only blocking mipony because it doesn't know about it. You might write to the AVG people and let them know AVG is blocking mipony and you believe it to be a legitimate program.
