Quote:
Albert had everything a painter could want, a successful business with a loving family to support him. But for the last few months he's been plagued by nightmares, by visions of a terrifying being that he has named Solitude. One stormy evening, he finds his nightmares have become reality when Solitude kidnaps his family, taking them deep into her painting. Albert yearns to free them, but doing so will come at a high price. All his memories have been corrupted and now only Solitude knows the truth. Albert must face his fears and journey onward, armed only with his paintbrushes and his love for this family. Can he save them, or will Solitude's painting become his final masterpiece?

Because the developer isn't mentioned in the description of the game, I will mention that it is Boolat, whose most recent CE, I believe, was Dreampath: The Two Kingdoms (which I thought was quite a beautiful game). wave

Hi, Marian!

I gave this one a shot but it just didn't grab me, so I uninstalled it before finishing the demo. Maybe it was just the mood I was in, so I'll wait for the SE and try again lol !

I've found that sometimes my feelings about a game are indeed mood dependent - but if it's still a no-go with the SE, there will be plenty more new games to choose from at that point. But with the sale today, you could pick the game up for $6.99 (it's on the list of eligible games for the discount). wave

Hi, Marian!

I didn't realize that it was eligible for the sale, so maybe I'll download it again and give it another chance. Thanks for letting me know.

I feel so behind, did they announce that they are going to use hide and seek versus hidden object. I am hoping more mystery type games.

I noticed that the sale refers to "seek and find" rather than hidden object. I heard no announcement to the effect that these games had a new name. I think it was just someone trying to be a bit creative. smile

I hope we will see more mystery-type games, as well.
