:)Thanks to that wonderful site: GOG, I have started a collection of classic older
games that I missed from early to late 90's. I discovered the world of computer
games around 2001 and havn't stopped "Baaging" yet! I enjoyed "Beneath a Steel Sky", futuristic, humerous,
and good story. I really don't mind the outdated graphics.
Am now playing "The Dig", a great Sci Fi space adventure. humerous dialogue, fantastical environments and
good storytelling. It shows up on many favorites lists and I can see why.
Since GOG's latest sale, my Oldies collection now includes:
Indy Jones Fate of Atlantis
Sanitarium
7th Guest
Waking Mars
Project Eden

Time to play them as well as the new ones- think

People do not remember how much you know, only how you make them feel
finished Gray Matter, playing Alice Madness returns and Deponia

That's great that you are discovering some good old games. Sanitarium is one of my favorites. You have many hours of fun ahead of you. smile

I loved The Dig and Sanitarium and I had forgot all about the Indy games. Those were a lot of fun too. smile

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

I have been replaying Pandora's Box for a while now (almost finished). I recently also replayed Amerzone and just finished Bad Mojo. Next on the list is Blackstone Chronicles.

Along with catching up on some new games, I've been replaying Gabriel Knight 2. thumbsup It's my favorite game from the Sierra/Lucas Arts era followed very closely by the other two Gabriel Knight games and Grim Fandango. praise

Yes rah

[And they are listed in alphabetical order because I tend to choose a "letter" and then play some beginning with that letter (one after the other) before choosing another letter and doing the same with that thumbsup]

Venus,

IMO Gabriel Knight 2 is as good as it gets in computer gaming. At the time it came out I thought it was the best game I had ever played. The first game was awesome too but the graphics were limited. The plot of the third game was great but I remember having trouble getting past the computer part of the game. I would of never finished without a walkthrough.

I just loaded up Quest for Glory: Shadows of Darkness. smile

After that I am going to replay some of my favorites which are the funny games like Discworld 2, Day of the Tentacle, Simon the Sorcerer, and the Monkey Island games.

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Mad is that an old CD version of Full Throttle you're playing or did you find a place to download it? Also I thought that I'd read somewhere that someone was re-doing Full Throttle but for the life of can't find any mention of it so maybe it is one of my senior moments. think

THere have been talks about the possibility of remaking Full Throttle, and making another sequel, but all that is on hold for now.

I play Full Throttle from the original CD release on my Win98SE machine smile

It IS still obtainable from Amazon UK - and is advertised to run in "Windows 2000 / 95 / 98 / Me and XP".

[I don't think I've ever seen it available in any other format.]

I agree about Gabriel Knight 2. I thought it was the best game I had every played and it still might be. Some old games I have recently finished...

Star Trek 25th anniversary
I have no mouth and I must scream
Crusader no regret
System shock 2

Thanks Mad. I was just hoping that it had been tweaked by someone for download on newer machines. I'm pretty sure that it is on the wish list at GOG.com.
