I'm playing this new game, Cradle, and am really enjoying the lonely weirdness of it, so I don't want any help (Yet!) but I do have a question of anyone who has finished the game. Does the game ever explain how and why an amusement park was built on the steppes of Mongolia? Indeed, am I so geographically challenged that the question is a dumb one? Anyway, I read a lot of bad things about the game, but far it suits my yen for something really strange. Is anyone else playing it?

I am trying really hard to like this game because I REALLY like the visuals, but it's awkward at times. When I go into the amusement park and ride the elevator, I know the robot is supposed to call me and then do something for me. She doesn't. I must have missed a trigger somewhere. Note that she does call me earlier before I enter the park. Any ideas?

When I hit "Resume Game" I start up after the long conversation with the robot. She asks if I've brought the thing back yet and then I head for the park. (Which I enter without difficulty.) According to the "Tab" hint, I'm looking to "Find and inspect pavilion 7." I think that is "Up." However, I just noticed that my inventory is empty. Should it be?

I simply entered through the front door of the park. I'm not sure I ever saw a # 7.

Oh ZOUNDS! I have once again led myself down the rabbit hole. I mistakenly believed that there was only one working piece of machinery. I was wrong and have now found pavilion number seven and a new save spot. I can't wait to see what dumb thing I do next. Thanks for interest.
