A friend was interested in checking out Big Fish but had trouble trying to download a trial game. I snooped around a bit, but did not encounter their minimum requirements for downloading and playing (she has a laptop). Can anyone help me find out for her?

What sort of trouble did your friend encounter? What error message, if any?

Individual games on Big Fish have varying system requirements, so there really isn't a one size fits all here. I've never read of any minimum system requirements in general for installing Big Fish Games. The first thing that should happen when downloading a game for the first time is that the Game Manager gets installed, of course.

We can always move this thread over to Glitches, if needed.

I am not sure what her problems were. It may be that the download failed. Or maybe she didn't give it permission to install the Game Manager. She is not trying to buy one of the big, complex games, but a simple puzzle game. I suggested she contact the Support guys and ask them. They'll know what questions to raise and how to help her. Could be her system needs to be upgraded.
