Welcome to your first day on the job at UPS (United Parcel Scrambles), where you will be packaging items for shipment. Your predecessor left things in a shambles, but just rearrange the words in capital letters and you'll find everything you need.

-1.A nice, small item comes into your little packaging room first, a brand new pair of lovely pink-and-orange striped shoe LACES. After placing them on this device to determine their weight, you find that they weigh only a few ounces. first letter s, singular

-2.After getting the measurements of a set of volumes, written by the BARD of Avon and bound together with A scarlet CORD, you look through your selection of containers and choose a properly sized box made of this papery material. c

-3.Everything becomes a BLUR of this cushiony material as you generously sheath an ingenious cat exercise device called The PAW Master, to ensure its safe arrival. You want to squish the material and hear the popping sound it makes, but you force the desire to EBB from your mind. b or b,w

-4.You're starting to get the hang of things in your packaging room; the mess is a bit distracting, but overall you've got AN excellent SETUP for doing your job. The little foam pieces that fill up extra space in boxes are a bit annoying, though - they get everywhere! p, plural

-5.Deciding to take an extra precaution with a delicate crystal vase, you put a LARGE stamp on the side of the box letting those who will handle the package know to be careful. This way, IF anything is broken in transit, you will be above reproach. f

6. "Your OVEN and You" (a cooking how-to video) slides easily into this flat, padded container. You PEEL off the piece of paper covering the self-adhesive strip, and seal the package tightly. e

-7.The individual shipping two rather NICE URNS has decided to protect himself from loss or damage by purchasing this. Don't take this as A slight to your packaging skills, though; many parts of the shipping process are beyond your control. i

8.Some really RAD, miniature SLEDS are soon packed away in a box, and you're easily ABLE to fill out the sticker that will tell the item's destination. a,l two words

-9.Next is a MOST APT item to be sent through the mail, though things seem a bit backwards as you prepare a collection that would normally be affixed outside of the box! Any philatelist would be thrilled to receive one of the items on these PAGES. p,s two words singular

-10.(Standing on a PIER by the seaside, you stare at a beautiful sunset on the horizon.) Well, that scene is actually just your final object to package, a tropical painting. With a show of ADEPTNESS, you use this tool to help you apply the sticky stuff that will keep things sealed during shipment. t,d two words

happydance

Hi Curly wave

Bob
As I've grown older, I've found that my memory is not as good as I used to think it was.

8. address label wave

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.
