Playing the (ahem) remastered and can't seem to find a way to brighten.
Any clues.
Also, I don't know but besides the characters what exactly was remastered.
I expected a bit more for my buck...
I should've researched before I bought.

There isn't a way to change the brightness from within the game - you'll have to do it on your monitor. Mine is perfect as-is.

There is quite a list of things that were remastered including the interface - point and click, if you want, instead of the old keyboard "tank" controls - video, graphics, music... etc. When I compare it to the original Grim which I also have installed, there is no comparison.

Once again, weeds are my life!

It works in Windows 7 and later.
The original does not.
It has point-and-click mouse control as an option.
The original does not.
