Don't laugh but you probably will. Laptop on -cat sitting on keyboard and when I scootched him off the picture is vertical instead of horizontal. Like it's north and south instead of east and west. Now Newzel had to sit on some keys and could you help me. System restore was incomplete due to an anti virus thing and I'd rather not bother with that. Oh pleasepleaseplease

It's probably a "feature" for rotating the screen.

According to ***How-To Geek***,
Quote:
You can rotate the screen by placing two fingers on the trackpad and moving them in a circle, as if you were turning a knob. This gesture may be disabled by default in your touchpad’s configuration application, so you may have to re-enable it.

and if that doesn't work, here's another method
http://superuser.com/questions/495631/how-do-i-rotate-windows-8-screen

or from here
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/47960-63-screen-flipped-sideways-windows

Quote:
Typically, to fix this type of error, you would use ctrl+alt+up arrow key to flip the screen right side up.
(incidentally...
ctrl+alt+right arrow = flip to the right
ctrl+alt+left arrow = flip to the left
ctrl+alt+down arrow = flip upside down)

I was recently called to an emergency to fix a computer which would no long access the internet... Cheddar the orange cat had walked across the laptop keyboard and stepped on the key that turns the wifi on and off. His partner in crime Colby, the other orange cat, simply watched and did not tattle on him.

Yankee, this happened to me in the middle of work once (I was a telecommuter), and I had no idea how to fix it. I had to call tech support and they were able to fix it via remote. I felt like a fool.

My cat could definitely do something like this, so I am taking notes this time just in case. laugh

I wish I knew the keys that darn cat sat on -Newzel knows and he ain't talkin'

Let me tell you how he got his name. My cousin Laura, lives near Niagara Falls NY was pumping gas in her car and it kept shutting off and on off, on off, on etc. So she went in the c-store and said your nozzle is broken. The clerk, not from the USA said What???? She repeated nozzle and he said Oh you mean newzel. And that's the story and that's how my last cat got named.

So good to have a proper screen
