I know no one that has had this particular medical issue so I need some input. My husband had TIA/Mini stroke late last year and does not seem to have any visible issues. However, he does have daily light headedness and the doctor changed around his meds but that didn't help, and if anything it's worse. He will be going to the Dr. next week and I want to have some ideas to introduce to him. I am considering a second opinion from another cardiologist. Have also thought about a neurologist and an endocrinologist. I'm at a loss. Does anyone have any viable info about this condition? I will take the information dubiously and let the doctor decide if it's a possibility.
Thanks, yes
Terri

I've done a lot of research and have come to no definitive conclusion. I figured someone that has been there might have a better insight to the situation.

There are too many causes of light-headedness I would hate to comment. I hope he finds a doctor that can help.

Once again I did not make my post clear. I merely wanted to know if anyone else that was familiar with A-Fib had experienced the same issue. And if so, what did they or their doctor say or do about it.

Like Ana mentioned Terri824, there are too many possibilities to really make a comparison between one person and another. When dealing with a condition that has the potentially serious ramifications such as this, it's best to look for the advice of a professional as you are already doing. Polling advice from a forum, no matter how wonderfully knowledgeable the folks may be, could potentially hinder or even harm rather than help.

Yes, what Trail said... this is too serious with far too many possibilities for conjecture on a gaming forum. Your husband's habits also play a big role as do his general fitness and health. Time to listen to the professionals and heed what they say.

Look up the individual medicines and see if any have been known to cause lightheadedness. If you find they do, you can discuss the finding with your doctor.

If the medicines reduce blood pressure, low blood pressure can cause lightheadedness. You might need to adjust dosage to keep blood pressure from dropping too low.

Oh hell, forget it. All I wanted too know was if anyone experienced this type symptom, and what caused it. I'm not trying to diagnose him, just trying to figure out what's going on. We do not self medicate here or self diagnose. If the friggin Dr.can't figure it out I thought I'd give him a hand. As for POLLING from a forum..........that was just plain rude. I'm not a total dumb a$$ when it comes to medicine, computers, yes! "Something like, yes I experienced that too but it was because I had my TIA at the base of my brain." Would have been a possible expected post.
My apologies for posting and bothering you people. You've missed the whole idea of the post!

Oregon breath.........did you not see that I said I would be dubious with the information and let the doctor decided if it's a possibility!
I'm fully aware of the many things that can cause lightheadedness. I wasn't trying to PICK ONE!
Thanks for your input............you've raised my blood pressure.

Nuff said on the subject!

My apologies Terri824 - My intent was not to anger, frustrate or insinuate ignorance. My post was done out of care for the members of this site, including yourself. Again, my sincere apology.

Oh, wow... Me too, my apologies. No intent to anger or frustrate at all. I just felt this was too serious to be soliciting advice or feedback on a gaming forum where we truly don't know each other on a personal level. I wish only the best for you and your husband.

Clearly, no one here had that happen and were just trying to help anyways. No offense, but I won't apologize and I think that was rude. My opinion and not those of GameBoomers.

No apologies asked for. You said what you thought and I responded as I saw fit. Ana I did not want, or expect an apology from you.
It is now and shall remain a moot point. Perhaps the best thing to do is remove this subject in it's entirety.
Thanks so much for the input, much appreciated!

I find your comments to those trying to help inconsiderate. You cannot delete the posts but I can lock this thread which is what I feel best to do.
