I found this info on the Big Fish forum for the game: I don't think you need to win Tripeaks to progress - you just have to try each of the levels (since it's all based on luck of the cards).
t's true, you don't have to win, just play each level - it took me forever to notice that on the pop up screen at the beginning of the game, there are arrows on either side which allows you to choose levels 1-6.
