“They keep saying the right person will come along, I think mine got hit by a truck.”

A man is in a bar and has one too many drinks. This beautiful lady sits down next to him. He turns to her and says "Hey how bout it. You and me, getting it on. I've got a couple dollars and it looks like you could use a little money."

She stands up and says, "What makes you think I charge by the inch."

`````````````````````````
A man is sitting at the bar in his local tavern, furiously imbibing shots of whiskey. One of his friends happens to come into the bar and sees him.
"Lou," says the shocked friend, "what are you doing? I've known you for over fifteen years, and I've never seen you take a drink before. What's going on?"
Without even taking his eyes off his newly filled shot glass, the man replies, "My wife just ran off with my best friend."
He then throws back another shot of whisky in one gulp.
"But," says the other man, "I'm your best friend!"
The man turns to his friend, looks at him, smiles, and then slurs, "Not anymore! He is!"
The "Claven Theory" offers the besy proof that beer actually does make you smarter..... "One afternoon at Cheers, Cliff Clavin was explaining the Buffalo Theory to his buddy Norm. and here's how it went: Well ya see, Norm, it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.
In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first.
In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."
Don't you feel smarter after a few?
```````````````````````````````

After a night on the town, a young woman brought a new friend home for a late-night drink. "You can't make any noise," she warned him. "My parents are upstairs and if they find out they'll kill us."

Things started getting heated on the sofa, but after a while alcohol got the better of the man. "I have to go," he said.

"Well you can't go upstairs. The bathroom is right next to my parents' bedroom," she replied. "Use the kitchen sink."

So he dutifully retired to the kitchen. A few minutes later, he popped his head around the door and asked, "Do you have any toilet paper, or should I just use a paper towel?"

`````````````````````````
lol Joe!
Have a happy day all! My allergies are in full bloom and I'm miserable. On the bright side though, I had an awesome day with Peter yesterdays. I forgot how wonderful it is to bike ride the Chicago lakefront.
Happy Hump Day and May the Force be with ya'll puppy
I've been up and running around for hours. Finally time to collapse.
Doggies and I headed out for a walk in the wonderful 67 degree weather. Skywalker bucked like a twit head from time to time, which is not normal behavior for him. I thought perhaps he needed to potty so stopped in the only vacant, unbuilt lot on our street. Nope, not happening. Then a few streets over.........explosion time! Not fun cleaning that up from the street.
Home to do lots of stuff in the kitchen. Finally reached the end of the list...feeding the dogs.... I grabbed a new carton of chicken broth for Seagy. Read the ingredients like I always do....Onion eek
So grabbed a can of Swanson Chicken broth from the cabinent.....onion hardwall
Gave up and went to the grocery store where there was a wall of Chicken Broth and Chicken Stock....every single one made with onion sad
So came home and am now making chicken broth without onion lol Swanson used to make one without onion, but I sure could not find it today. <shrug>
Have yogurt in its first stage, so will be up and down the stairs. Other than watching that and the chicken broth, I'm going to sit and surf and rest.
Ana, hope you are feeling better wave
L4L -this is for you. Cmmndr Buttons likes bird so I get him split chicken breasts -he prefers the kind with skin and bones included- and simmer it. This way he gets the chicken and I get the broth which is delicious and it isn't difficult to cook, only bothersome. Especially cleaning and chopping up. He doesn't want it boiled only simmered. The broth freezes well with no loss of flavor and you could keep this for Seagy. Why do they put onion in chicken broth.
Ana, I get seasonal allergies too and right now they are in full hate. And they end up with herpes above the belt over my eyes and sometimes end up with iritis. Ouch!!!
Hi all -happy Wednesday
Ouch, Yankee, thanks!
Yes, I'm boiling chicken wings right now. Seagy yums her food right up if you add just a bit of chicken broth...1/4 cup...let it soak while you make everyone else's food. I used to make it all the time, but then we discovered broth in the cartoon with very few ingredients. Looks like they changed the formula sad Will just have to make broth once a week....wave
Hey L4L,
If you make a big batch of broth, say on the weekend, you can freeze it in ice cube trays. Then just toss the cubes in some Tupperware and keep them in the freezer. That way you can just grab a couple of cubes to add to the food when needed instead of having to do it every week. We did that for our old cat when he started having health issues. smile
I feel a lot more like I do now, then when I first got here
Hi all. I'm enjoying my one day off a week. I've been cleaning and getting rid of some long over due things I no longer need or want. I'll tackle my clothes closets later. It feels good. Now to change the subject for a sec, I had a biopsy done on an area on my face, specifically my nose early this week and I'm waiting to hear the results from dermatology dept. Well, I missed the call today so I need to call them tomorrow. Please say a small prayer that everything is OK. I hope that it's not skin cancer but I have to wait until tomorrow to know. Thank you. I know that it's the least threatening form of cancer but I still would rather that I'm cancer free. Thank you.
