I am in the fortune teller's room. Dr Webber has removed the trace implant from Walker and left. Hacker has just left. The only ones in the room are Walker and Jessica. The countdown timer is running. The exit door handle is green. In inventory I can put the implant in the implant gun. Whether I do that or not, I cannot get either Walker or Jessica to move. I can't get the game out of the fortune teller's room. I must be missing something.

Hi Soren.........Have you got the "implant capsules" and did you get the biocontainer out of your body when you got the Memorizer back?

Just thinking this over some more, Soren, are you in the secret room behind Rita's (fortune teller's) room? If you are in that section and you have the purple tiles, try using them on the new page in the notebook laying on the sidebar.

In my original query I was in the fortune teller's room just off the casino--that is where the trace implant removal takes place. I have the purple crystals, went to a previous save (since where I am I can go nowhere) and back to the rear room behind the liquid wall where Rita is waiting, talked to her, then brought up the book on the shelf behind her and tried the purple crystals on every page that I could access, including the cover; each time I got the notataion "not on this page"

Hi Soren......Well, its difficult to tell what and/or where, but you probably have missed some little detail. This is the definitive nonlinear game. Not only can things occur at different times, but they also can occur in different places with different characters involved. I'd recommend that you go back to a save game and play part of it through again, perhaps using the walkthrough, to see if you might have missed some action, item or tidbit of conversation.

You did do the action much earlier at the Mars Colony where you are on your own and have to get out of Preacher's room next to the church by fixing the locking apparatus above the door?

Also, I deleted your new thread about "What new page?" and will address it here, so we can keep this discussion in context. The new page appears in the notebook (as I recall) after certain elements have come together in the game. I can no longer recall all of what that may involve but the following excerpt might help. I can say that by the time I solved this puzzle, I had solved all of the slider puzzles and opened all the lockers.

Go back and talk to Rita in the secret room again. She's trying to activate the Crystal Cone. She gives a clue for the solution to you. Use the Purple Tiles on the new page in the notebook laying on the side bar behind Rita. Solve the puzzle by correctly placing the tiles at left, in the imprint at right.
