This is more of an FYI than a recommendation.
There are some classic RPG's available on the mobile Android platform, but you probably need a fairly hefty phone to play them. Here's a few that stood out for me:
The original "KOTOR" -- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Be aware that this is no slimmed down game, it's the full version adapted for Smart Phone play and takes up over 2GB of storage. That translates to a long download so definitely something you'd want to do through Wi-Fi so you don't burn through your data allowance.
Then speak of the devil,
The first Bard's Song game! This one is under 30MB so not as needy as KOTOR.
I've also come across
Baldur's Gate Enhanced and
Baldur's Gate II as well as
Icewind Dale Enhanced, I've never been a big phone game person, mainly because I've been sticking with my old outdated phone for quite some time because my workplace provided it. Now that I've been slated for "Carrousel" at my workplace (Logan's Run reference, means I'm not going to be there for much longer
) I gave up my work phone and picked up a an Android Turbo, which has unfortunately given me yet another reason to become part of the mindless masses who wander into traffic staring into their palm.
At any rate, I've discovered the world of apps, including games and thought I'd pass these mobile links along.
Just a couple of disclaimers though; they all cost money, usually between $3.00 and $10.00 or so and mileage may vary when it comes to downloading or using them. Most of the ones I named have decent ratings, but since they do fairly frequent updates to the Android platform, it's possible the developers might miss some issues here and there.
So, there you go.
