I cant find the opening to get her out of the captain's cabin. I looked at it on you tube, and it seems that there should be an opening under the pictures on the wall, but I am not getting a door icon. Can someone guide me in the right direction please?

Thank you Marian, the problem is, I can't find the hole to go back out of the captain's cabin. I have picked up the things that I need, watched the you tube and still can't find my way out.

I can't think of anything else to suggest, other than trying to remember where you entered the cabin and then looking around there closely to see if you can find the exit again. I have played games before where the exit out isn't always obvious, so I understand.

Maybe someone else who has played the game can lend a hand.

I don't know if this helps or not, but, I had a similar problem with The Raven and I changed my screen settings (I think that is what it is called) and when the screen was smaller, the arrow where I had to go had shown up. At least that is worth a try. Sometimes if the screen is too large the exit screens are hidden.

The hole is in the upper right corner of the room between pictures on the right wall and a railing on the left. The hole is on the floor below the pictures.

Doreen, I had the same problem as you, finding that hole. I had to resort to watching a video walkthrough of this part, and I finally figured it out after watching it a few times. Moving along now. Thank you. also, smokey for pointing us in the right direction. HAPPY GAMING!
