See characters and new locations from 'The Park', an upcoming first-person psychological mystery thriller game set in a creepy amusement park

Check out the screenshots here.

*as stated earlier here this may be a Darkside game*

Quote:
Oslo, Norway – September 25th, 2015 – Funcom is excited to reveal three new screenshots from 'The Park'. For the first time ever you can see some of the characters which will feature in the game as well as the mysterious locations players will explore when 'The Park' launches in October.

'The Park' is a first-person psychological mystery thriller where you step into the shoes of a mother whose son has gone missing at the mysterious Atlantic Island Park. When night falls and the lights go out, what follows is a terrifying and emotional story set against the backdrop of an amusement park where nothing is ever quite what it seems.

"It is great to see how the game is moving along," says Funcom Creative Director Joel Bylos. "Characters, sound, cinematics, environments, story and gameplay are all coming together. 'The Park' is in its last phase of polish and the team is very excited to launch the game in October."

Happy Gaming!

If the game is anything like the trailer here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1laEiebQ_E
the flashing screen makes it a no buy.

You don't have to be an epileptic to be annoyed by that,
and it can also trigger migraines, which I suspect are far more common than epilepsy.

Screen shots are great Ana. I did check out the video and watch all but the part that flashes on the roller coaster. It looks like a very eerie, scary game!

I don't know why they did that.
The trailer really starts to draw you in up to that point.
Then the flashing started and I immediately turned off the video.

The flashing screen isn't scary, and if the viewer can't watch that part because it hurts their eyes or triggers a migraine, they'll certainly question whether to buy a game that has that flashing in it.

I like the amusement park idea. scared Looks like a great place for spooky fun. However, that white flashing is a big annoyance. Hope it's not incorporated as a recurring part of the gameplay... a definite turn-off, making me not want to buy it; and that it's been used only for the teaser.
