I only seem to remember maybe TWO games I have given up for a total loss … out of goodness knows how many.
Uru-to-Dni seems all set to becoming another !
I think that many Boomers were involved in different stages of beta-testing, and I hope my general (buggy) assessment on the main Discussion is not offensive.
I got right through & completed the whole of Uru-Prime and made a proper full save at the end.
When I insert this save into Uru/Dni it seems to “fit” 100% & tally completely with the GB Uru/Dni walkthru.
I understand from the walkthru that my next move is to reach the "Baron's Office" (O.K. ..... not that I remember this from URU-Prime, or even what it looks like when/if I ever reach there !

)
It seems to indicate that I can arrive there either …………..
** (A) You can link there directly via the link page on the Ae'gura. book (Brown book with stylized tree … 7th book from the left) OR **** (B) via the Teledahn Book (Orange color … 3rd book from the left ).
** (A) Seems out of the question at present since I have so far ONLY obtained the very first 2 linking pages.
**** (B) I think that I COMPLETELY finished Uru-Prime and started Uru/Dni from the FINAL Uru-Prime save .
When I access this Teledahn Book, there is ONE CLOTH (and I’m fairly certain that this was the LAST one superimposed from Uru-Prime) and afterwards 2 or maybe 3 Linking-Pages.
Using EITHER the cloth or the 1st linking page (the “hut”) I can
easily get the machinery going, all possible levers pulled etc. I’ve done this a dozen times. On some occasions the 2 buckets are stationary and will not move at all. By ‘fiddling’ I can get the buckets moving BUT no amount or type of lever pulling will get EITHER bucket to stop at the bottom or anywhere else. I have pulled levers when the buckets are in pretty well every position(s) possible ---> Nada !
I vaguely remember doing this in Uru-Prime and seem to remember succeeding on the 3rd or 4th try.
Unless somebody can instruct me as to how to reach the "Baron's Office", I reckon I’ve wasted more than enough time already … which maybe (partly at any rate) is at least one of the reasons why Uru-Live had to be abandoned ???
