Is there any connection between Miss Thorn of the Margrave game with the lovely music and excellent voice acting and the Thorn in Turning Thorn or is the evocative surname a coincidence?

As far as I know, it is a coincidence...

Thanks.

I'm now playing the Blacksmith's Daughter which I guess is the last of the series. It's a lovely game which for me mitigates the existence of HOG scenes. There is some amusing dialog as well, for example, in explaining the misdeeds of a monster called the Ouphe to our heroine, one of the minor characters says, "You don't want to know what the Ouphe did to her. Needless to say, I gave up knitting." Significantly, the puzzles and HOG pay-offs are not an endless stream of ho-hum hardware and auto supply items.

I thought the third and fourth Margrave games were exceptional. I'm sorry that we haven't seen more from this developer (no new releases that I am aware of, at least).

Marian,

What are the 3 game names? I have Curse of the Severed Heart and The Blacksmith's Daughter. What am I missing and what is the correct sequence?

Thanks.

I just took a look at the developer's website and it would appear that they are doing games for Facebook and for mobile.

And I was wrong (I edited my last post). I was forgetting that there were four Margrave games in total, of which I liked the last two the best.

The four Margrave games were (in order):

The Secret of Margrave Manor

Margrave Manor 2: Lost Ship

Margrave: The Curse of the Severed Heart

Margrave: The Blacksmith's Daughter
