I bought the HD version of Shades of Black and it will not play. I thought with a new computer that would be okay. Is there any solution to my problem? I get the4 display screen, but no game.

According to Mikael:

Quote:
We recommend the HD version if you have a screen resolution of at least 1920x1080.

Did you check your screen resolution to see if it fits this requirement?

A new computer makes no difference at all.
You need a monitor capable of 1920x1080 resolution or greater.
Otherwise use the low resolution version.

If you bought directly from http://www.mdna-games.com/Shades/buy_dig.htm
you should have gotten an email with links for both high resolution and lower resolution graphics.

The lower resolution version is for monitors with a resolution between 1280x720 and 1920x1080.

Marian and Jenny100, thank you so much for your help. I read resolutions wrong. My resolution does not meet the HD standards. I did not realize I had both downloads. I downloaded the right game and it plays fine. smile
