Hi. This is the 3rd time I've become stuck in the game so far. Was able to move on the first 2 times after taking a rest from the game but that does not seem to be working this time.

A package was delivered to Nicole at the FBI station and is now in the detonation chamber. I have looked at the wrapper and found the Q and the Heart and Nicole commented on it, the Queen of Hearts. I believe I am also supposed to be finding the answer or clue to the combination lock on this wrapper but am not having any luck with it. Please confirm that this is what I am supposed to be doing (or not). I guess that's all I'm asking for at this time is confirmation. If the wrapper is where the combination clue is, I will keep looking and will consult the wt for the steps if I still cannot find it. If that is not where the clue is, I don't want to keep wasting time there.

Yes - the code for the lock is on the wrapper.

Have you folded that wrapper so you can find the complete code? You found Q and heart. You need 2 numbers to go with those.

Well, I see numbers and have tried various combinations on the lock but apparently I have not folded the wrapper properly. Will Nicole comment on this other than what she says about the Queen of Hearts? And why only 2 numbers? Or will that make sense to me when I see them?

After you folded the paper correctly and see your Q and heart with the 2 #s; ask the man there about it.

Nicole has nothing to say to the Sapper guy. I must be folding the wrapper wrong although she did comment that one time about the Queen of Hearts. Nothing since then no matter how I fold it. I'm getting sick of the puzzle so will probably look at the w/t.

Finally got back to the game for a short time tonight. Tried again to fold the wrapper but still couldn't get it. Used the w/t so I could move on!

Is it just me or do most of the conversations in this game not make much sense?

Thanks MaG. I haven't been to my emails yet today. I do not need a saved game though. I was able to get past it using the w/t. I was just saying that I gave it one more try before using the w/t and that failed so I finally gave in.

Stuck again. I've blown up the power plant about 15 times now. My question is about the knobs where you are supposed to be able to change the lasers. There are 3 set points to the knobs. Are you supposed to be able to stop the knob between these 3 points (where the drawings are)? I can only turn the knobs from drawing to drawing. Cannot stop anywhere in between. Don't know if I should be able to but just don't know how to work the knob right or if there are only the 3 positions. I hope this makes sense. Not sure how else to say it.

Be sure that you removed the blocks based on the laser diagrams.

I can't remember the knobs that you ask about. Be sure you use the correct screwdriver for the screws.

But check this old thread and see if it helps about the laser.

Not sure MaG. Based on your answer, I am missing quite a bit of something. If I'm not too tired I'll take another look tonight and let you know. Sounds like we're not talking about the same area but I very well may have missed something!

Yes. I think I will have to. I cannot see what I might be missing and I cannot move the lasers without blowing up the plant. Whichever position I put the knobs, the place blows up. I'm too tired tonight though. Maybe before I look at the w/t I will replay from an earlier save. There were some bolts I removed off of something but do not have the bolts and cannot do anything with that something either, so I would like to take a look at that again.

Yes - now and work on it later. This is a tricky puzzle.

Just as I suspected. I was missing an item. I replayed the section and still missed it so I had to take a peek at the w/t. I looked at that mini bus at least 5 times but never saw the pipe. Once I found it, well, it wasn't exactly smooth sailing, but it went fairly well. Quitting for the night before I get stuck again.

I knew I'd get stuck again! I figured out the radio station and the wrapper from the second parcel (at least I think I did) but the seed is giving me trouble under the microscope. I assume I am supposed to be arranging the pieces somewhat like a jigsaw puzzle but how the heck am I supposed to know how to do this? None of the pieces actually seem to go together. Will Nicole say something once all the pieces are in place? Or am I looking at this puzzle wrong?

You can rotate the seeds by right-clicking, but you can also flip a piece by double-clicking the left mouse button. If you've already done all of that but no luck, please let us know.

I did figure out about the rotating but not the flipping although the thought occurred to me this morning on my ride in to work. So, thank you for confirming that Marian, and I will give it a go tonight to see if that does the trick for me!!

Made it through Detalion and am back in the office trying to figure out the fingerprints. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Boss got me into the military stuff. Listened to her say (no exaggeration) around 100 times "this doesn't match". I don't want to talk to anybody or disturb my partner.

Maybe another print matching replay - 101th time?

Go back to the lab and log in the Database-Big Brother.
Place the fingerprint from car wreck on top. Press the search button. Find 10 matches.
See the 10 prints at right. Select one of those 10 and check for matching features.
Click-hold and move the partial car prints on the enlarge print. Do this until a match is seen.
Drop the partial print on the matching lines of the big print until the machine confirms it. The matching area is at bottom left of the big print.

The game was okay Marian but I really didn't understand the story. I have that problem often though with games and movies.
