I bought Dracula trilogy and did the first one Resurrection no problems at all.
Second one The Last Sanctuary I have got as far as Time for a swim when you dive and swim to the other end but have tried and tried used the walkthrough and still could not do it is the an easy way or a way I can get past without doing it?,

At the balcony, be sure that you have arranged the clue (chessboard paper underneath the chessboard) first.
Read the red book using the glasses to learn what to do.
Then do the chess puzzle by arranging it correctly.
NOTE: when correctly done - note that the floor chessboard is the mirror image of the paper.

Maybe replay that part and see what happens.

done it now having problem finding second wood beam supposed to be against the wall next to the tower where is that ?
